Why does it show a range instead of one price?
The top of the range uses your full monthly budget. The bottom uses about 85% of it, which leaves room for insurance, fuel and the unexpected. Shopping inside that range keeps you comfortable.
What interest rate should I use?
Use a rate from your bank or credit union, or a recent quote if you have one. If you’re not sure, try a few different rates to see how much the range moves.
